    Overall it was a lovely stay. The shower worked and the hose leaked less after my boyfriend tightened it. Our daughters enjoyed having a big bedroom whilst away from home and having a sofa bed in the living room was great to set up and have a family film night. I would stay again and would recommend.

    Das hat mir besonders gut gefallen

    The location. It was very easy to get to town by foot and has a local shop up the road for any necessities. Not having to take bedding/towels is always very useful. I thought the tablet within the apartment was great, whether it be for signing in at the beginning of our stay to signing out. Also the ability to search for places near by too. A nice modern touch.

    Das fand ich weniger gut

    You have to lock and secure the door once in, otherwise anyone can access the apartment, unfortunate but I think the locking system could be updated. No wardrobes or drawers. There are small metal stands in which there are a few coat hangers but nothing to make it feel “homely”. No hoover? I personally like to hoover before I leave but there wasn’t one.

    Mein Eindruck vom besuchten Ort

    Coventry is lovely. Where the apartment actually is we were a little wary as some of the houses just up the road look a little rough but once in the town centre it was different all together. The Royal Bengal was lovely, the staff in there very friendly and the food was delicious! We also visited the Transport Museum, the Canal Basin, went to Planet Ice and even Kenilworth Castle which was stunning. We also tried a local theatre production of Goldilocks and the three bear at the Albany Theatre but we left half way through. Great for children under 5 but for our girls (8,10) it was dull. Even they noticed Goldilocks had brown hair. Cafe Morso is also lovely, their English breakfast is great value and the staff really helpful and accommodating.

    The Royal Bengal

    Great Indian. Lots to choose from. Food was delicious! Girls were happy with their curry and the selection of dips that came with the poppadoms.

    Queen and Castle

    Not a restaurant but a pub the other side of the Kenilworth Castle. Beautiful place inside and out. Food was delicious, service was great.

    Transport Museum

    Lots to see from Penny Farthings to the world land speed record vehicle. There was an activity in which the children could design their own future vehicles and explore how cars started to how they are now.

    Planet Ice

    Ice skating with confidence. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

    Kenilworth Castle

    Stunning grounds. Get to see the ruins and go up into the towers. The restored gardens are beautiful and the aviary was lovely.
