Dee Dee Villa Retreat is an opulent private residence that is rented out for a select few months of the year.Dee Dee Villa Retreat in Chaloklum, is a Thai/European family owned and managed business, established since 2007. We have built up a reputation whereby the majority of our bookings are returning guests or personal recommendations.The villas are located at the secluded beach of Haad Thong Lang in the north-west of Koh Phangan, Thailand. Situated on over sixteen hundred square meters of prime beach front land facing Koh Ma and Koh Tao.The villas are set in beautiful mature Thai/Chinese style gardens with authentic ornaments and a vast variety of flowers and plants making it a nature haven for butterflies.The villas are within five minutes drive of the charming fisherman’s village of Chaloklum, boasting quaint wooden houses, restaurants, bakeries, bars and other essential services.The more diverse and buzzing port town of Thong Sala is a 20 minute drive.

Dee Dee Villa Retreat isavailable for all looking for tranquility and solitude. They will deliver food to the villas (payable locally).Many guests ask how much to tip the staff, therefore should you wish to give the staff a tip for the services at Dee Dee Villa Retreat. Please do so upon check out to the villa manager.By way of a guide the average tip would be 100 Thai Baht per day. We have a seasonal water shortage on the island and ask you to be as Conservative as you can. No toilet paper, tissues etc to be put into the toilet. Please use the bins provided which are disposed of daily.Please note that air conditioning is installed in the bedrooms Only. Due to the design and configuration of the villas the living rooms have Five meter high vaulted ceilings. The number of air con units required for this space would exceed the Local Planning Regulations / Guidelines and this obviously helps reduce our carbon foot print on planet earth …………Also, so you are aware the ‘Power’ comes from Kanom on the mainland , it runs on the sea bed and has to service Koh Samui before it reaches us on Koh Phangan , hence why we sometimes experience short power cuts. Ceiling fans and stand alone fans are supplied through out ALL of the Villas, plus we normally benefit from a cool sea breeze supplied for free, by Mother Nature …….Dee Dee Villa Retreat was built on virginal beach front land in the jungle and is totally self sufficient. There are a further 5 privately owned luxury villas located in and around the bay.The weather and any noise generated externally of the Dee Dee Villa Retreat Estate are beyond our control.Renter agrees to pay the owner for the cost of repairing or replacing (solely at the owner’s discretion) any item of property, or contents at the Villa which is damaged due to negligence or willful default of the renter during the renter’s occupation, or which is missing.The person in whose name the booking is made acts on behalf of all other persons named, and becomes responsible to the owner for all payments in respect of the booking.It is strongly recommended that the entire party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage).The Owner is not responsible to the Guests and their party for any and all claims including any accidents related to the use of the property facilities or locally procured third party services such as, watercraft, water sports, jeep or motor bike rental etc.We appreciate everyone’s holiday is different and will endeavor to cater for your needs.

The villas are set in beautiful mature Thai/Chinese style gardens with contemporary Chinese ornaments, a herb garden and over 50 varieties of flowers and plants making it a nature haven for butterflies.The island of Koh Phangan, often referred to as Samui’s pretty little sister, is situated south of Bangkok in the emerald seas of the Gulf of Thailand. The clear, warm waters give way to white sandy beaches flanked by coconut groves. The island is 70% mountainous and has over twenty three individual beaches. Koh Phangan’s interior comprises 95% rain forest enveloping the picturesque mountains. The climate is tropical all year round and the island benefits from a constant, cool breeze.The island is truly a world of contrast with exceptional sightseeing opportunities. There is a vast number of white sandy beaches to laze on, trails through tropical jungle to explore plus architecture, spirituality and tradition. Koh Phangan has been visited by no less than four Kings of The Kingdom Of Thailand with the famous Rama V visiting numerous times.There are two flights to nearby airports, both with connecting ferry services to Koh Phangan. The fastest, but more expensive route is via Samui Internatinal Airport. The ferry from Samui takes around 30 minutes. The second option is to fly into Surat Thani Airport.
